Dell annoinced the Android smartphone handset called the Mini 3i through a partnership with China Mobile Ltd., the world's largest handset maker.

Dell's Mini 3i is based on the Chinese-designed Open Mobile System, an Android-based platform, and is not all that cutting edge, with 2G GSM, no WiFi, a 3.2-megapixel camera (with LED flashlight) and Bluetooth.

The screen of the Dell Mini 3i is 3.5" capacitive touchscreen with 360 x 640 pixels resolution. There's a microSD card slot for storage. A miniUSB port handles PC connectivity and built-in GPS.
