Garmin Nuvifone A50

A joint effort between Garmin and Asus, the nuvifone A50 is a Android-based phone with Garmin navigation software with turn-by-turn voice directions for walking or driving. Because the maps are stored on the device, you can navigate even while roaming out of the country or if you lose your signal.
The device comes equipped with a 3.5-inch capacitive touch screen (HVGA), 600 MHz Qualcomm MSM7227 ARM 11 processor, 4GB of internal storage, and a high-sensitivity GPS receiver for location based services, microSD card slot, 3-megapixel camera with autofocus, Android browser with pinch-to-zoom gesture, and an accelerometer so every screen can be viewed in portrait or landscape mode.
Powering the Nuvifone A50 is Android 1.6, but it has been heavily modified so that it hardly resembles the original OS. The Garminfone integrates Google's mobile services, and also offers on-device sync with Microsoft Exchange server. And the phone will include all the native Google Android apps including the official Market.
