HTC Desire Z

HTC's Desire Z is the global equivalent of the G2 on T-Mobile. Equipped with Android 2.2, the new HTC Sense, 1.5GB of program memory, 512MB RAM, 800MHz Qualcomm processor, a 3.7-inch SLCD screen, and a 5MP camera with 720p video recording, it represents an attractive high-end Android device for international customers.
HTC Desire Z is an Android side-slider phone. Similar to the T-Mobile G2, the Desire Z features a QWERTY keyboard. The HTC Desire Z is designed for quick and easy access to Facebook and Twitter. It features a unique 'pop-hinge' that opens to reveal a keyboard with shortcuts for common functions.
The 800-megahertz Qualcomm 7230 processor for improved performance and battery life and also includes HTC Fast Boot -- shortening the time taken to complete the power-up sequence. It also uses HTC's new Sense interface to improve how users capture, create, share and access multimedia content.
HTC Locations lets users view on-demand maps without download delays or roaming charges, and an online e-reader connects consumers to a new e-book store. Additional features include a 5.0-megapixel camera with 720p HD video recording.
Unlike the US G2, however, the Desire Z comes loaded with HTC's enhanced Sense UI and new HTCSense.com services.
