LG Phoenix
The LG Phoenix is a quad-band EDGE (850/900/1800/1900 MHz) and tri-band HSDPA 7.2 (850/1800/2100 MHz) device with 802.11b/g Wi-Fi.
The LG Phoenix is an entry-level Android smartphone bound for AT&T Wireless with features including Wi-Fi and portable hot-spot capability, GPS, 3G, quad-band support, Bluetooth, and a 3.2-megapixel auto-focus camera with no flash and a resolution measuring 2048×1536 pixels. LG Phoenix Android records VGA videos at 17 fps.
LG Phoenix runs on Android 2.2 (Froyo) and is powered by the 600 MHz processor, Adreno 200 GPU, Qualcomm MSM7227 chipset CPU.
The phone is equipped with a 3.2 inches TFT capacitive touch screen display which is capable of displaying pictures of resolution measuring 320×480 pixels. The display is equipped with an accelerometer and proximity sensors.
There is also a microUSB 2.0 and 3.5 mm audio jack.
The microSD card slot is located underneath the battery cover; and comes witha 2GB card to get you started. There's also 162MB of free internal memory.
The phone offers decent connectivity options with its support for both 2G and 3G network. There is also support for GPRS and EDGE. With the phone supporting Wi-Fi 802.11b/g and Wi-Fi hotspots along with Bluetooth 2.1 with A2DP profile local connectivity.
The Phoenix has voice commands and speech-to-text capability with compatibility for Google Voice Actions. It has integrated Google account syncing for compatible Google apps such as Contacts, Gmail, Gtalk, Google Calendar, Picasa and Android Market.
The LG Phoenix weighs 3.2 ounces and measures 4.47 x 2.32 x 0.53 inches. Its 1500 mAh lithium-ion battery is rated at up to 7.5 hours of talk time, and up to 20 days of standby time.
