The Motorola Droid Pro XT610 for Verizon is global-ready optimized for business use with support for CDMA, GSM/EDGE, WCDMA, HSDPA/HSUPA network, allowing customers to enjoy wireless voice service in every country in the world. The Motorola handset is the first Android device to have a bar-type QWERTY form factor.
The Motorola DROID PRO features a 3.1-inch 320×480 HVGA touchscreen, a 5 Megapixel auto focus camera with dual LED flash, GPS/A-GPS, Bluetooth 2.1, WiFi connectivity, DLNA support and a 3.5mm jack. The phone is boosted by a 1GHz processor, 512MB RAM and 2GB ROM. It comes with a 8GB microSD card pre-installed. The QWERTY phone runs Android 2.2.
Android 2.2 includes integration with corporate email and VPN systems, plus compatibility with Microsoft Office documents. The Motorola handset does not support MOTOBLUR, but it does come with some Verizon tools for managing data and contacts instead.
