Motorola DROID 3
The Motorola DROID 3 is equipped with a dual-core 1 GHz processor. The Droid 3 houses a 1GHz dual-core TI OMAP4430 processor, 512MB RAM.
The DROID 3 comes with a 8-megapixel camera with LED flash and digital zoom and a front-facing VGA camera for video chat. The camere can capture 1080p HD video.
The business ready DROID 3 offers a variety of advanced security features, including device and SD card encryption, complex password support, and remote data wipe of device. The included Citrix GoToMeeting for Android app gives you the ability to attend online meetings while on-the-go, while the Quickoffice allows you to view and edit documents and presentations.
The device has an HDMI port next to the microUSB charger on the left side, the power button and 3.5mm headphone jack up top, and a volume rocker on the right side.
Underneath the hood the device has a SIM card for international roaming capabilities, as well as a slot for the microSD on top of the 16GB of internal storage supporting an additional 32GB of external storage, bringing the total of 48GB.
The DROID 3 has a 1540 mAh lithium-ion battery which is rated at up to 550 minutes (9.16 hours) of talk time, and up to 300 hours (12.5 days) of standby time.
It weighs 5.9 ounces and measures 4.9 x 2.5 x 0.5 inches. It runs on the CDMA 800/1900 frequencies as well as EV-DO, Rev A 3G frequencies.
