The Samsung I9001 Galaxy S Plus also known as Samsung Galaxy S 2011 Edition, is an Android  2.3.3 Gingerbread OS smartphone, with a processor of 1.4 GHz Scorpion, Rom 2GB, 512MB ram, GPU Adreno 205 chipset.

The device has a 16M colors, 480 x 800 pixels, Gorilla Glass  super-sized 4-inch  AMOLED capacitive touch-screen, Radio Stereo FM radio with RDS, Bluetooth, GPS, 3G, 14.4 + Mbps HSDPA connectivity (4G) and  Wi-Fi connectivity.

The Galaxy S Plus has a 5 MP camera comes with touch focus, face and smile detection and is equipped with a 0.3 MP VGA front camera. Video Recording is supported resolution of HD, 1280×720 720p@30fps.

Galaxy S Plus got a built in 8 GB storage capacity, the storage capacity is also expandable up to a maximum of 32 GB with the use of a microSD slot.

The phone comes with a standard battery, Li-Ion 1650 mAh. Up to 750 h (2G) / Up to 625 h (3G) standby, Up to 12 h 50 min (2G) / Up to 6 h 30 min (3G) talktime
