The follow-up to the extremely successful GALAXY S, Samsung's GALAXY S II is a powerhouse of a smartphone in a fantastically sleek and lightweight design.
The Galaxy S II packs a 1.2GHz dual core Cortex-A9 processor and 1 Gig of RAM.

The front of the handset is dominated by the large 800 x 480 pixel 4.3" "Super AMOLED Plus" display, using a new version of Samsung's AMOLED technology that gives a much sharper display.

Internal flash memory is 16GB or 32GB, with a microSD slot that can take up to 32GB on top of that. It's a quad-band GSM and quad-band UMTS device which also supports 802.11 a, b g and n WiFi. The Galaxy S II also supports HSPA+ ( 4G) with maximum download speeds of up to 21 Mbps.

The phone has so many good features such as GPRS, EDGE, 3G(HSDPA, 21 Mbps; HSUPA, 5.76 Mbps), WLAN(Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, DLNA, Wi-Fi Direct, Wi-Fi hotspot), GPS, Bluetooth and USB(V2.0).

This phone is equipped with awesome 8 mega pixels camera with 3264×2448 pixels. The camera has so may features such as autofocus, LED flash, Geo-tagging, touch focus smile detection, face detection and image stabilization. It can record videos too at 1080p@30fps. There is a 2 mega pixels secondary camera also which enables you to do video calls.

Other features include accelerometer, proximity sensor, 16GB of internal memory, microSD slot (up to 32GB), WiFi-N, Bluetooth 3.0+HS, microUSB, and GPS (plus aGPS support). The phone also has 3.5mm jack.

The Samsung Galaxy S II comes with a very large 1650 mAh cell supporting Up to 372 h (2G) / Up to 610 h (3G) in stand by mode and Up to 6 h (2G) / Up to 8 h 30 min (3G) in talk time mode.

The phone is a very slim device, at just 8.5mm thick at its thinnest point, and surprisingly it only weighs 116 grams.
